Hi, I’m Berylle!
A 20-something scatterbrain born in Manila, raised in Vancouver. Ambivert. Old soul fueled by good music and dark coffee.

My globetrotting journey began in the beginning of January 2015. I left Canada with a broken heart, all time low pocket, but full of eagerness to wander and find myself. I established #2015adventure as an escape route and it was dedicated to traveling around New Zealand and Australia only. But it was such a blessed year that I had the opportunity to travel Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong as well just to name a few.

I was able to afford the life of travel through my savings from my corporate job as a Field Visual Merchandiser, both in VanCity and Sydney, while I worked in the outback of Melbourne as a farmer. When jobs are not available, I sustained my survival through volunteering and couchsurfing. My lifestyle may not be an option for every one but it has saved me so much money and allowed me to wander around 35 countries.

I’m currently in the process of learning the wonders of my Canon 650D. My all time favourite subject is the street life and cultural side of every countries that I go to. There’s always a story beyond their touristic sites & locals and I’m keen to share the gained knowledge & experience visually.
This blog is a product of my rambles and discoveries as a backpacker dedicated to aspiring travelers and big dreamers in hopes that it can help you achieve your goals through my travel hacks, ideal itineraries, tips that can get you the bang for your buck.
